Alan Tsen – Short Blub
Alan is the General Manager of Cremorne Digital Hub and an experienced operator and ex-founder who’s spent his career building products people love. He led revenue strategy at fintech unicorn Chipper Cash, ran a corporate accelerator for Australia’s largest insurer, and was the founding GM of Stone & Chalk Melbourne.

Alan is the General Manager of Cremorne Digital Hub and an experienced operator and ex-founder who’s spent his career building products people love.
He previously led revenue strategy at fintech unicorn Chipper Cash, managing product strategy across eight markets and seven products, and worked on global expansion across Africa, the EU, APAC, and North America. Alan also ran a corporate accelerator for IAG, Australia’s largest general insurer, and was the founding GM of Stone & Chalk Melbourne, a not-for-profit hub supporting the growth of world-class fintech start-ups.
He is the former chair of Fintech Australia, where he led key policy submissions on digital currency and blockchain, including removing double GST from digital currency and updating KYC/AML laws. Alan has served on the Federal Government’s Fintech Advisory Group, ASIC’s Digital Finance Advisory Panel, and CPA Australia’s Digital Transformation Centre of Excellence.
A former lawyer specialising in international tax and M&A, Alan holds degrees in Law and Commerce and a Master’s in Commerce (Economics) and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in Victoria.
